Welcome to The Home Assistant Blog.
I am a big fan of smart homes, and I found that Home Assistant fits my needs perfect. I have spend a huge amount of time figuring some of this stuff out, so I would like to help others spend less time getting everything up and running.
I write guides for configuring Home Assistant and making clever automations and integrations. I also do reviews of smart devices and how they fit into Home Assistant and into your home.
I have a background in IT, and my newest server project made me do a series on Storage Spaces because it’s interesting me, and I hope someone else finds it interesting and useful too.
I got more than 150 devices in Home Assistant, and more is being added all the time 🙂

If a device for a review was not bought by myself, I will write it clearly in the post. No matter how I acquired the device, the review will always be honest, and not influenced by any third party.
